We hope that parents will work closely with us as partners in their child's learning. Many of our curriculum projects will involve parents sharing children's successes and we will support all the regular learning that children will be encouraged to do at home. For example we share with parents the school assessment processes at parent evening "drop in" events and invite parents in to share in the school's phonics programme. We also welcome parents in to help in school in any way that they are able as the our curriculum is dependent on the community.
We also try to ensure that our communication keeps the whole community up to date with the events and news from the school. We use the website, texting, Twitter and a regular newsletter to achieve this as well as a video newsletter, found on this page.
We hold termly "Parent Forum" meetings to address issues and areas of development with parents from all age groups. These groups really help to keep the school informed and moving forward, ensuring that we contniue to provide a good service to all of our families.
