We welcome parents in to help in school in any way. Our curriculum success is entirely dependent on support we receive from parents and the larger community.
We hope that parents will work closely with us as partners in their child's learning. Many of our curriculum enquiries will involve parents working with children on Home Learning Tasks and we also support all the regular learning that children will be encouraged to do at home.
We share with parents' the school assessment of their child at parent evenings as well as through the annual report. We also invite parents in to share and contribute to their child's learning using two online platforms: Tapestry for EYFS and Teams for Years 1-6.
We try to ensure that our communication keeps the whole community up to date with the events and news from the school. We use Tapestry, Teams, the school website, emails, texting, Facebook, Twitter and an entertaining weekly newsletter to achieve this. The most recent examples of the newsletter are always posted on this website in the Letters and Newsletters page.
We hope that you also find Eden Park to be a very open school with numerous opportunities to come into school and celebrate the children's learning with them.
We also run an annual parent survey. We are constantly delighted with the results and the lovely comments parents make about us, so please look at our latest surveys and comments available below.
If you, as a parent or carer, would like to let Ofsted know directly what you think of Eden Park Primary and Nursery Academy, you can so this by visiting the Parent View page.
"Having had my children in other schools throughout the country (due to postings with job) I would like to say that as a comparison Eden Park is an excellent school, with very caring and understanding teachers who want the best for the pupils." (Parent Survey, 2020)
