Safeguarding

Eden Park Primary School has a strong safeguarding culture. All staff understand and fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring that the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of every child remain our highest priority.

“Safeguarding leads are skilled and highly visible. They are well known by staff, pupils and families. Systems and processes are clear and widely understood. Staff record their concerns consistently and accurately. Leaders have strong relationships with other agencies.” (Ofsted, 2023)

The school displays prompts to children so that they are continually reminded of the support that we offer to our children. We know that happy, safe children are thriving children.

“my children feel safe in school and I think that is just as important as feeling safe at home.” (Parent Survey, 2024)

“Pupils respond very well to the high expectations of staff. They behave well. Bullying is rare. When it happens, staff listen and act swiftly to address any unkindness.” (Ofsted, 2023)
