The KS1 classes have had a visit from Mr Morgan! He brought in lots of clothes and costumes made in the style of the English Civil War, battles that took place 350 years ago! He told the children all about soldiers at the time and how battles would have looked. We talked about the difference between war then and soldiers now, some of the children talking about their family members in the army. We then all had the chance to try on lots of the clothes and see how heavy and uncomfortable they were as they are all made of wool or leather.
