The Frogs have been exploring tools at our new Tinkering Table. One of the tools they used is our new Apple Peeling Machine. The children had to follow instructions and safety guidance to use the machine and couldn’t believe their eyes as they turned the handle and the machine not only peeled the apple but sliced it too. One child said, “That’s a cool machine!”. Later in the week, we opened our doors for a Maths themed open classroom. Parents had the chance to speak to their child’s key worker, view what Maths looks like in Nursery, browse through their child's learning journey, and take away lots of free maths resources.
