Nurseries
We are delighted to welcome you and your child to a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued as an individual.

Welcome to Our Nurseries
Our 2–3 and 3–4 year old provisions are thoughtfully designed to support each child’s holistic development—caring for their emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth. We believe that every child is unique and deserves the best possible start in life. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to create a secure and stimulating space where curiosity is encouraged, play is purposeful, and learning is meaningful. Through personalised support and engaging experiences, we aim to build strong foundations that prepare each child for a successful and joyful journey through school and beyond. We look forward to being part of your child’s early years and helping them flourish in a setting where they feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
TADPOLES
Tadpoles welcomes children from the term after they turn 2, offering an exciting, educational, and fun environment. We nurture adventure and sensory skills while preparing early learners for school and independence.
FROGS
Frogs, for those turning 4, is alongside Reception classes, helping them transition. By July, they're ready to move, having learnt through play, started phonics, reading, and writing via Read, Write Inc. They also enjoy 2 outdoor areas.
Our Curriculum
Our Nurseries and Reception classes follow the Eden Park Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which has been carefully designed to meet the needs of all the children in the setting. Our Reception Teachers and Nursery Manager work closely together to ensure consistency of practice, as well as providing enabling environments for children to thrive in and lead happy, healthy and active lives.
Through sharing our practise, our curriculum includes a progressive bank of core knowledge and skills for the children to master during their time in Early Years. We have a clear understanding of the schools’ core values which are incorporated into everyday practice and work alongside the British Values. These are RESPECT, CREATIVITY, INDEPENDENCE, TEAMWORK and WELLBEING.
No matter each child’s starting point, we have high expectations which are aspirational for all. Our intention is to provide each child with a passion for learning, enabling them to become lifelong learners. Our ambitious curriculum ensures that the children are given a good foundation to their education and are prepared for the next stage in their learning journey. Consideration has been given to the specific content in EYFS ensuring there is progression into Year 1. Children will use their prior learning and enjoy deepening and enriching it as they journey through Key Stage 1.

Enriching Our Nurseries
Eden Park Primary & Nursery School enriches its early years curriculum through a diverse range of engaging, hands-on activities that nurture children's curiosity, creativity, and understanding of the world around them. The nursery integrates Forest School sessions, allowing children to explore natural environments, fostering resilience, independence, and a deep connection with nature. Understanding of the world is further enhanced through activities like sand play, where children investigate textures and materials, and creative tasks that encourage imaginative expression. Practical experiences, such as car washing, not only develop fine motor skills but also instill a sense of responsibility and teamwork. These enriching experiences are thoughtfully designed to support holistic development, aligning with the school's commitment to providing a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
